PCS, a leading Manage Service Provider with top IT solutions, seeking a talented and experienced Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Project Engineer at PCS, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and supporting complex IT infrastructure solutions for our clients.

Key Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking; VLANs, Network Segmentation, SDWan, Routing and Switching, DNS, DHCP
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows-based operating systems and Windows Active Directory Domain Services
  • Extensive knowledge of Hypervisor technologies such as Hyper-V and VMWare
  • Familiarity with Hyperconverged and SAN storage solutions
  • Experience with Azure environments and toolsets
  • Expertise in Firewall configuration and management for common corporate brands like Sonicwall and Fortinet
  • Proficient in common corporate backup solutions including Datto and Veeam
  • Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Works independently and creatively to advance project initiatives
  • Works on multiple projects concurrently prioritizing and adjusting schedules as required
  • Adaptive and flexible to shifting priorities and workloads
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to client business leaders for making business decisions and implementing strategic initiatives
  • Willingness to work weekends and evenings beyond normal shift end time as workload requires

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure solutions for clients
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
  • Act as a technical advisor to client business leaders and provide strategic guidance
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices
  • Document project plans, configurations, and processes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Industry certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, VCP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc., are preferred
